HERFF JONES CAP AND GOWN RELEASE

While Clayton County Public Schools (CCPS) continues to cope with the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, efforts are being made to conduct a memorable graduation celebration for members of the Class of 2020. Part of that event is the distribution of caps and gowns to senior class members.

This year, in compliance with Governor Brian Kemp’s call to protect Georgians through strict adherence to social distancing guidelines, members of the Class of 2020 will be able to receive their caps and gowns via a drive-up curbside process. The Herff Jones Company, suppliers of the garments to all CCPS high schools, will be at each campus to conduct the distribution beginning Monday, April 27, 2020. Herff Jones representative Rick Shrewsbury and his staff will make the deliveries, practicing appropriate social distancing using the following schedule:

All balances owed on caps and gowns should be paid prior to the scheduled distribution day, Herff Jones staff will not be equipped to accept cash or credit cards at the school sites. A senior needing to pay the balance on an existing order or place a new order should go to the firm’s website: www.highschool.herffjones.com. After the at-school distribution schedule is completed, seniors can still order caps and gowns up to graduation on the Herff Jones website. The garments will be mailed to the home of the ordering student.
